The Propel Conference offers inspiration and innovation to grow your church. Sponsored by a coalition of Seventh-day Adventist ministries committed to seeing churches grow, it was born out of a desire to see an annual evangelism training event where likeminded church leaders can gather together, dream with your team, and hear powerful speakers that will inspire you for action.

A note from Larry Witzel.

Welcome to the Propel Conference! What began in 2023 as a renewed expression of the historic WestPoint of Evangelism has continued to grow into a movement that equips today’s church for tomorrow’s mission.

As we gather in the Washington, D.C. area for Propel 2026, we believe God is calling His people to step boldly into a new era of ministry. This year’s conference focuses on empowering leaders and members with practical tools for community connection, digital evangelism, and impactful public outreach. Together, we will explore strategies that honor our Adventist heritage while embracing innovative methods that reach a rapidly changing world.

Propel is more than a training event. It is a space where we listen for God’s voice, learn from one another, and prepare our hearts for mission. We invite you to join us, bring your team, and experience what God can do when His people gather with expectancy.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I get continuing education credit for this event?

Pastors who participate in the full conference can receive 2.5 CEU credits through Adventist Learning Community. Details on how to receive these credits will be provided at the event.

Can I bring my children?

Short answer: no. This will be 4 days of high-impact training, and we’d like you to focus on learning, reflecting, and interacting with other like-minded leaders. Child care is not provided, so you’ll need to find alternative care for your children.

I can’t come after all. Can I get a refund?

All event tickets are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your registration. If you’re not able to attend we encourage you to transfer your registration to another member from your church or district. Please contact us if you would like to transfer your registration.

Can I attend virtually?

No, these meetings are not available for online viewing. A big part of the experience is interacting with like-minded leaders from other churches, and these conversations all happen before and after the meetings. Because of this, a virtual option is not available for this event.

Will the presentations be recorded?

Yes, every main session and breakout session will be recorded by Adventist Learning Community, who will make the videos available on their website. In addition, each presentation will be released as an episode on the Propel Podcast over the following year.
