Airport

The Propel Conference is in Vancouver, Washington this year. Vancouver is 15-20 minutes north of Portland International Airport (PDX) in Portland, OR.

Hotels

There are several hotels in the area that you can choose from, however, there are no hotels within walking distance of the conference. The NPUC has special rates from 4 hotels in the area. See below for more details.

Car Rentals

You'll want to rent a car to get to and from the conference to the hotels and restaurants in the area. The NAD has arranged discounts for car rentals with Enterprise, Alamo, Avis, and Budget.

Recommended Dining

Most hotels provide breakfast and lunch is provided each day of the conference. We encourage you to plan dinners with your team offsite to share what you learn each day. There are several vegan or vegetarian options in the area.

Places to Visit

The Pacific Northwest is beautiful all year, but especially in the spring! If you haven't visited the area in a while, or this is your first time here, there are a few places everyone should try to visit and experience firsthand. Let us know which ones are your favorite!

On May 18, 1980, a magnitude 5.1 earthquake triggered one of the world's largest recorded landslides, followed by one of the most powerful volcanic blasts in the history of North America: the eruption of Mount St. Helens.
